Toddlers can be really hard to please when it comes to getting a wide variety of food groups into them. In this house hold, the current flavour of the moment is cheese and bananas. Not together…but when all else fails, those are the 2 snacks we can entice her with to ensure there is something in the tummy.
My daughter is almost 19 months now so generally she eats what we eat, which is easy enough. Except she is a lot fussier than she was at 1. So, when we find a meal that she devours quickly, it is worth making note!
Rather than a recipe for this weeks Tasty Tuesday post, I thought I’d share a recent combo of toddler food that had proven itself popular to keep on the regular rotation.
On the plate:
- Steamed veggies
- Mashed potato
Little miss loves having a variety of flavours that she can pick up and nibble on, and is a massive fan of food such as rice, pasta, noodles etc, so quinoa was well received. The mash let her practice her cutlery… another thing she loves to do.
